Member-at-Large - Sara Alexander

Sara Alexander was President of the Syracuse Jewish Federation from 2005-2007.   She now serves on the SJF Executive Committee.  Most recently, she Co-Chaired the SJF Strategic Planning/Community Visioning Committee

Prior to her election to the presidency of Federation, Sara was Vice President for Campaign 2005. She has also served as Vice President of Allocations & Community Planning and as a member of the Executive Committee.

She is an alumnus of the National Young Leadership Cabinet and a recipient of the prestigious H. Hiram Weisberg Young Leadership Award., the Esther & Joseph Roth Award for Communal Leadership and the Kipnis-Wilson/Friedland Lion of Judah Award from United Jewish Communities.

Sara has served Congregation Beth Sholom-Chevra Shas as Treasurer and as Vice President as well as having served as Chair of the Finance Committee for their building expansion.

Sara is a partner in the firm of Kruth, Stein, Squadrito & Liberman, a member of the NYS Society of CPA’s and the American Institute of CPA’s.
