Treasurer - Sara Alexander

Sara Alexander served as President of the Syracuse Jewish Federation from 2005 thru 2007.  She has also served on the SJF Executive Committee as Immediate Past President and she recently Co-Chaired the SJF Strategic Planning/Community Visioning Committee.

Prior to her election to the presidency of Federation, Sara was Vice President for Campaign 2005.  She has also served as Vice President of Allocations & Community Planning and as a member of the Executive Committee.  She is an alumnus of the National Young Leadership Cabinet and a recipient of the prestigious H. Hiram Weisberg Young Leadership Award, the Esther & Joseph Roth Award for Communal Leadership and the Kipnis-Wilson/Friedland Lion of Judah Award from United Jewish Communities.

Sara has served Congregation Beth Sholom-Chevra Shas as Treasurer and as Vice President as well as having served as Chair of the Finance Committee for their building expansion.

She is a partner in the firm of Kruth, Stein, Squadrito & Liberman, a member of the NYS Society of CPA’s and the American Institute of CPA’s.
