Michael Balanoff - Vice President of Community Relations

Prior to his election to this position, Michael Balanoff is a Past President of the Syracuse Jewish Federation and has served as an Advisor for the Executive Committee.

In prior years, he has served as Vice President of Community Relations and has served as an active member of the Executive Committee as well as having also served as a Past President of the JCC, led missions to Israel in 1974 and in 2004 and has served on the YMCA's Outreach Board of Managers. 

Michael served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam and was awarded the Bronze Star.

He is a partner in the law firm of Green and Seifter in Syracuse. 

He is a founder and past president of the CNY Bankruptcy Bar Association and practices before the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of New York.
